Sheri Bachstein serves as CEO of The Weather Company. The Weather Company is the world’s most accurate forecaster, offering actionable weather data and insights to millions of consumers via The Weather Channel (weather.com) and Weather Underground (wunderground.com) and thousands of enterprise clients and marketers to help them make better decisions. Her role includes overseeing innovative products and services for media and aviation clients and a suite of media, data, and AI technology solutions that help advertisers across the marketing lifecycle.

Sheri has played a role on many different aspects of The Weather Company digital properties during her tenure. Previously she was global head of the consumer business, which included all aspects of The Weather Channel and Weather Underground consumer properties, including product management and design, content development, and global expansion across the organization on The Weather Company’s owned and operated properties.

Prior to that, she has led global audience growth, international consumer product, product operations, audience products, and product management. She worked previously for The Weather Channel television network as a producer and as part of the “storm tracking” team. In her career, Sheri has also served as vice president of product and content at RMS Networks in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and as a producer for WGNX-TV in Atlanta.

Sheri won an Emmy Award for breaking news coverage of the Atlanta Centennial Park bombing and an Associated Press Award for sports reporting. An Atlanta native, Sheri received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Georgia State University. She enjoys playing golf, traveling, and cooking.
