As the head of enterprise product for The Weather Company enterprise business, Bill Dow leads the high-performing product teams for media, aviation, weather simulation, automotive, and insurance.

Bill has over 35 years of experience with The Weather Company, with the majority of his tenure in leadership roles within product and broadcast media. Previously, he was head of enterprise media solutions with responsibility for delivering on-air and digital solutions (web, mobile and CTV) that enable broadcasters to deliver engaging and insightful weather experiences to their audiences on every device.

Under Bill’s leadership, the enterprise media team successfully launched the industry-leading TruVu Max ecosystem of products that was instrumental in helping broadcasters transition their weather presentations from analog (NTSC) to digital (HDTV). He also led the enterprise media team’s recent development of Max Cloud, which is the foundation for a new suite of cloud-based (SaaS) products designed to help broadcasters transition their weather and traffic workflows to the cloud as they look to improve their efficiency and resilience.

Prior to leading the enterprise media division, Bill held key operational roles at The Weather Company in support, applications engineering, and product marketing. Notably, Bill helped launch the Weather Workstation, which served as the basis for many of The Weather Company workstation products (enterprise-wide) for more than a decade.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Lyndon State College.
